Many consulting companies hire employees straight from university. Without ever having seen a company from the inside. That may work for one or two large corporations with infinite money, but not for comparatively small businesses such as Franotech with around 50 employees.
The founder of Franotech, Marlon Franosch, built the IT and robotics throughout the entire company on in-house programming, open source and software with one-time payments. No SAP, no Proalpha and whatever else the expensive ERP systems are called. The monthly costs of the entire IT consist only of the server costs, on which even other companies of Mr Franosch run.

Marlon Franosch offers selected clients personal IT and process-optimisation consulting. With a thoroughly pragmatic approach that the big consulting firms consider beneath them. He works for a few days in all areas of the client – packs goods, makes parts, operates the robots, sells in field or office sales, handles customer emails, etc. He looks very closely at all processes in order to optimise them. Because he knows – employee questionnaires and the like are useless. Process optimisation is a matter for the boss! True to his grandfather's motto: "As long as you are not the boss of Daimler, a boss must be able to do and know everything in his company, and better than any employee.
