The Osram Night Breaker LED was Osram's first road-legal LED retrofit lamp. It lets you convert low and high beam to modern LED technology – legal on the road for the vehicle models included in the compatibility list (check at osram.de/ledcheck). The general type approval (ABG) must be carried in the vehicle.

Are LED retrofit lamps legal?
Yes, if the vehicle model is on the manufacturer's compatibility list and the ABG is carried in the vehicle. For unlisted vehicles, we recommend high-quality halogen lamps such as the Cool Blue Intense.
